Am I going? Well, I'm actually torned right now. Yes I wanted to go but have you guys seen the CCP Open grounds where they plan to perform? Plus the ticket is going to be free! Meaning to say, 80% of the squatter population of Metro Manila including the 20% of population of the people resided in provincial places near Metro Manila would be there. Do you get what I mean? Hay.. 

I've just seen Batman "The Dark Knight" last night at Robinsons Galleria with Beebee and her younger sister Pey. It was a three hour movie but you'd never notice the time because of the fast the pacing of each scenes were.

How was it? It was great! I was really excited to see the movie because of course of Heath Ledger. I have heard a lot of good reviews about him in this movie and he did played the Joker role very well. How funny is it to see Heath being the Joker wearing a nurse uniform right?

 

My favorite in the movie is the new motorcycle (I don't know what to call it since the car was batmobile. Is it safe to call it batmotorcycle? hehehe). Wherein Batman ejected from the "batmobile" in the motorcycle. How cool was that right? 

 

Anyways, I love how Maggie Gyllenhall portrayed the role of Rachel Dawes in the movie. She was so elegant and charming. I've never seen her this beautiful and sexy. But both Beebee and I thought that if Katie Holmes would still have portrated it would be better.

Could you guys belive I cried in this movie? Yes let me repeat that I cried!! I thought Gordon was really a gonner until he showed up again. (booohooo! I know such a spoiler to those who haven't seen the movie yet!)

***Christian Bale - Bruce Wayne  (3 stars for you since The Joker became the center of the movie.)
***Heath Ledger - The Joker (5 stars for The Joker with a round of applauses and a standing ovation. Perfect for the role!)
***Aaron Eckhart- Harvey Dent (3 stars only since I didn't like the part wherein he was portraying Two Face already. Looks too nice to be a villain)
***Maggie Gyllenhaal - Rachel Dawes (5 stars for you me dear! I didn't thought you'd fit the role but you did! Very sexy, charming and vulnerable)

Uncanny Prophesy: What will happen to the world at 2008

Mr. Juseleeno Nobulega DaRoose is Brazilian, born in 1960, 47 years old now, his occupation is a teacher, he is a normal citizen, having a very poor life with his wife and kids. All the events which Mr. Juselleno predicted had clear indication of the year, month date of the disasters, incase any third party wants to confirm the facticity of his prophesy, Mr. Juselleno always put the story which he predicted to the notarization office or post office for the approval.

Somebody asked him, how old did he start the prophesy dream, he answered: 9 years old, from 1969, he dreamed 3 events a day, sometimes 9 events, the times he dreamed is different every day. He said all the prophesy dreams were automatically in his dream. When Mr. Juseleeno was 19 years old, he met the famous Brazilian prophesy Saint Mr. Franciscoshabiz, after that the worldwide disaster events were increased in his prophesy dream. Mr. Franciscoshabiz was two times the candidate for the Nobel Prize, he is a very famous differential functional person, at the same time he is also the Charitarian. Mr. Juseleeno sent a warning letter to Diana via post office on 4th March,1997 “ I got the message from the God that someone is planning to kill you in the car accident, your life will be dangerous, 7 angels told me about this. You may die in this car accident and the specialist may close this case as a driving mistake, but they are totally wrong. The murder is close to you…. And it will happen before 2000”
Juseleeno also send this warning letter to the time, Darlytelegraph and Guardian etc. new agents in England, but never published. The car accident was happened on 31st August,1997, 5 month after the warning letter was sent out. Just as the prophesy said that the case was closed as driving mistake. The accuracy of this prophesy is not only to predict the huge event but also the truth of the intrigue behind the event. There are a lot of rumors after the accident, Diana was killed by the England royal family centered by queen Elizabeth.

The prophesy said it will happen before 2000, though there isn’t exact date on, but this prophesy was sent to the president(FernandoHenriqueSilvaCardoso) of Brazil 2 years before the accident and mentioned about “from 1997 to 98 that Diana will die” etc.

The second attack of World Trade Center, it is 911
Jeseleeno sent the warning letter to the president of USA in 1989, the warning letter had also published at a notarization office which run by Mr. Klicheeba in the town of Palana. This warning letter also predicted that the World Trade Center will get the first attack in 1993, though there was no exact date on but the second attack was clearly told 11th September,2001. Everyone knew the result, the first attack was happened on 26th Feb.1993 three and half year after the warning letter sent out, the parking place was blow up and many people injured, the second attack was happened on 11th Sept.2001, 13 years after the warning letter sent out, it is the 911.

The exclamatory thing is, this prophesy also told about Afghanistan and Iraq war will start after 911, after Iraq lost, the president Haisan will run to Adawr the middle of Iraq etc. are all in the letter, like you all know, the events in the prediction letter were happened one by one.

Sumatra Indonesia earthquake
Juseleeno sent the warning letter about Indonesia Sumatra Earthquake to the India Embassy on 16th September, 1996, about 8 years before the disaster. This warning letter predicted that there will be 8.9 earthquake in Aceh Indonesia in the morning of 26th December,2004. India and Indonesia will be attacked by the tsunami. He sent the warning letter to the president of Indonesia on 30th April, 1997, the letter is about “ I dreamed that 7:00am 26th Dec, 2004, South Asia will be attacked by 8.9 earthquake, at the same time will get the tsunami, the area will be Aceh Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Maladiv, Bombay. And many people will be dead……
The result is- the earthquake was happened at 07:58am 26th Dec. More than 200000 people dead, the biggest tsunami was about 30 meters, a lot people were dead by the tsunami. He also sent the same letter to Indonesia, Philippine, Thailand and other Embassies. He also got the thanks letter from these countries.

The thanks letter from Meigawadi said “ about the 2004 earthquake and tsunami, to prevent the disaster, we must do a lot of things, but in another hand, we can do nothing”. The thanks letter from Indonesia Embassy said “…..we will send this letter to our government, if you have any update information, please let us know”.

From above information, Juseleeno already predicted that there will be more than 200000 people die in the tsunami and earthquake 8 years before the disaster, he sent the warning letter with detail date on to these countries, but nobody did any preventive measures.

The writer pick up a few events which Juseleeno predicted for the future.

2007
- Tornado attacked Brazil, thousands people dead.
- 2007 or July of 2008 Japan will get earthquake and get 30 meters tsunami.
- Japan will get earthquake and typhoon in October, He predicted that the huge typhoon will happen on 26th October in the warning Letter USA will get the terror attack on 17th December.

2008
- Will find the medicine for AIDS and Dengue
- 18th July, Philippine will get 8.1 earthquake, thousands people will die
- The Empire State Building New York will get terror attack in September.
- 13th of September, China will get 9.1 earthquake in Nanning and Hainan, at the same time will get 30 meters Tsunami, millions people will die, the tsunami may go to Japan Directly.

2009
- 25th January. 8.9 earthquake will attacked Japan, Hundred thousands people will die.
- November, Japan will get earthquake again. Thousands people will die.
- Brazilian government can not pay the insurance because of the finance problems. Will get the riot.
- 24th August, Istanbul Turkey will get 8.9 earthquake. The road will be parted.
- 16th December, Sumatra Indonesia will get 7.8 earthquake. Thousands people will die.

2010
- The temperature will reach 58 degrees in many countries of Africa, at the same time will lack of water.
- 15th June, the New York stock market will be
- The temperature in Africa will reach 58 degrees, it is unbelievable number, but in May 2007, people who travel around Africa said the temperature in Greece and Turkey are already 39-40 degrees, Iraq and Arabia is about 45-46 degrees, it is possible to happen in the summer but not in may, we can imagine that in the summer of 2010, the world will become warmer and Africa will get the high temperature.

2011
- Will found the treatment for Cancer. But another new cancer will occur.
- A serious disease will occur, it will be called ALS, People will die after 4 hours get ALS
- Bird flu H5N1 will infect to human, 7300000 people will die till 2013.
Mr.Juseleeno’s prophesy is not only for the disease and earthquake but also for the exact name. For example the formal US president Gore famous book “ An Inconvenient Truth”. The name of tornado which will attack Brazil, and thousands people will die, the name of infectious disease ( ALS), the name for San Francisco’s earthquake ( the Big One) and etc. events.

2012
- The area of glebe will be extended regarding the aridity and become desert, from 2015 till 2020, the trees will disappear in Amazon.
- From 6th Dec. the sky will start the black cloud time, it is called weather cloudy.
Human start die because of the infectious disease’s overspread.

2013
- Find the treatment for cancer except the brain cancer.
- Bahamas of West Indies, from 1st Nov. till 25th the Volcano will break out and bring the earthquake too, after that will be 150 meters huge tsunami, about 80 meters tsunami will go to Caribbean, About 15 kilometer to 20 kilometer to USA , Brazil and other countries. The sea will go down 6 meters before the tsunami and the birds will move away too.
Mr.Juseleeno predicted that when the cats and dogs know the disaster is coming, they want to get away from the venue, they will have strange behaviors 24 hours before the disaster, so we can use that for the standard of judgement.

2014
The small planet will be closer to the earth and may knock together, the exist of this small planet will influent the issue of human live.

2015
In November, the average temperature will reach 59 degrees, many people will die, the world confusion will be bigger.

2016
In the middle of April, huge typhoon will attach some cities of China, about one thousand people will die.
The US president Bush will be in the hospital suddenly, has serious sickness.

2018
About the issue of small planet will be closer to the earth, the leaders of each country will gather together to discuss the countermeasure, Mr. Juseleeno already predicted in 2000, and informed the NASA of USA about the exist of the small planet. On 31st June,2002, NASA confirmed and called this small planet 2002ZNT7」。

2019
May find out the science power solution, if the small planet knock together, 1/3 population of the world will die. Mr. Juseleeno predicted that the percentage for the small planet knock the earth will be 60% .
In June, the east sea of Japan will get the Tsunami, bigger then the Indonesia tsunami.

2025
Astronomer will find new planet, it may knock the earth again, the possibility will be 80%.

2026
In July, San Francisco will get huge earthquake, it is called “ the big one”, San Andreas Fault will be destroyed, California will disappear, a lot of crater will start again, the tsunami will be more than 150 meters.

2043
The world population reduced, about 80% people dead in the disaster.

Will 2008 Beijing Olympic Game be held smoothly?
As above said, in 2008, China will get 9.1 earthquake and more than millions people will die, according to Mr. Juseleeno’s prediction that the earth quake will be 13th September,2008, and Olympic will hold on 8th August-24th, In this schedule, the earthquake will happen after Olympic, but before the big earthquake, there will be a lot of small earthquake, it will make the country and people upset.
There will be a lot of small earthquake before the big one, although Juseleeno didn’t predict the exact date, but if we presume the small earthquake will happen one or two month before and it may be the period of Olympic, if so it may make the host and athletes give up. When the writer read this prophesy from Juseleeno, he suddenly remember the space time traveler John Titoer’s last word “ 2004 Athens Olympic Game will be last one”

But, if the earthquake is in the south of China, Nanning and Hai Nan, and there are no Olympic games, the Beijing Olympic Game will close successfully. But the problem is that China government is only care about the reputation and successfully of the Olympic game, ignore the small earthquakes, and no preparation before the big one. China may control the report, closed all the news . If so there will be a big disaster as the prophesy said. In Mr. Juseleeno’s warning letter said “ if there is no preparation to protect the citizens, will get huge loss’

Mr. Juseleeno also predicted that glacier period is coming.
He also has the right prophesy for the weather, one of them is, in 2003, Europe got high temperature, 29th October, 2001, the warning letter said “ the nature world will beat back to the world, the temperature of France, Germany and Portugal will become higher, more than ten thousand people will die, this disaster will happen between 2003 and 2004” . the truth is, the temperature in the summer of 2003 had reached the highest one which they’ve never had in Europe, about 35.000 people dead, especially France and Germany, about 14,000 people dead in France and 7000 people dead in Germany.

From Mr.Juseleeno’s prophesy, the earth temperature will get higher every year, till 2012, the temperature in Africa will reach 58 degrees and the same time will have serious water problem, after the temperature will be even higher, till 2015, the average temperature of earth will reach 59 degrees, a lot of people will die, the human will get frighten all over the world. If this is the truth, the countries will against each other because of the aridity and not enough food, Mr. Jeseleeno also predicted that there will be some new wars because of the aridity, but he didn’t have clear prophesy, but he felt it won’t be the normal war.

Anyway, the temperature is getting higher is not like the aerography said ( the speed is very slow), actually very quick. However the warmness seems not always incessancy, after the high temperature, a big part of ice of Greenland and South Pole will be dissolved and go to the sea, the circulation of the sea will be lower and become colder, it means a new glacier time. In Juseleeno’s prophesy seems also said after 2027, there will be a new glacier. Details of the prophesy as below:
The volcano of America yellow park will break out, the smoke and magma will go 1,600 kilometer far, Kansas, Nebraska, Montana will all get damaged. The break out of the volcano is not only in Yellow park, but also some other place in the world. these smoke will blot out the sun, the circulation of see will stagnate and active the cold phenomena.

Eir and kol got Nobel award
As we all know, the formal president Gore dedicate on study of earth temperature, his famous book “ An Inconvenient Truth” was made to a movie and also get the Oscar award. Actually 19 years ago, Mr. Juseleeno already predicted about this, the phophesy had been published on Moon Magazine in June, in the end of may, before the publish, the editor told the writer about this, I really got surprised for a while..

According the letter which Juseleeno sent to Gore, this prophesy letter already inform Gore that from 1993 to 2001 he won’t be the vice president anymore, he will dedicate on protect the world environment activities, and he will write a book “An Inconvenient Truth” to become famous, the English letter Juseleeno wrote to Gore also told the books name and he will get the 2007 Nobel award, we will know this autumn, Let’s looking forward for the prophesy for Mr. Gorel. We can’t deny Mr. Juseleeno’s prophesy.

There are not much time for Human, from December 2007, the Black Cloud will extend all over the world, as Mr. Juseleeno predicted that if the human still keep the actuality, human will have terrible life from 2008 till 2012 , the black cloud will full of the sky before the disaster. If we want the disaster, and war stay away from us, the deadline for human is the end of 2007. Mr. Juseleeno expected the world consciousness will change in the end of 2007.

The situation is very serious now, if we still want to depend on other’s power, Mr. Juseleeno’s prophesy “ the black future” will happen. We must understand the serious situation, individual to individual, group to group, country to county, hold you own responsibility, take action, because the deadline will come soon.

**Rumor or not? I don't know. Do I believe it? I also don't know. Maybe yes maybe not. But whatever happens. If it's our time, it's already our time. I just hope that not a lot of people would actually get hurt. Let me know what you guys think.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Definitely not a date movie but a great movie for kids! Although I expected more since it's a Spielberg-Lucas film. And hey! How good is it to see Cate Blanchett to act as the bad person? Well... they should have given her more scripts and scenes.
Rating: An okay movie.

What Happens in Vegas

A very very funny movie! Although I think they focused too much on the comedy part of the movie and neglected to work on the romantic part.

When Love Begins

I'm very disappointed with how this movie turned out. Why? Thinking that the movie has a powerhouse casts, I expected a lot. Turned out to have a bad cinematography, bad script and bad acting. Waste of time, money and E for effort.

When the first trailer of the movie came out a few months before I told Beebee "Why Robert Downey? He's already old". But last night after watching the movie with Beebee, Rhea and Tj, I told everybody "He was really really good!". Great effects, great scripts, great cars and great iron suit. Plus! Gwyneth looked really pretty but elegant in that movie. I just wish they could have added more stunts and fighting scenes.
Rating: A must see movie of the year! Can't wait for a part 2.

I can't believe that I was one of the last person to read and hear about this gossip.

Brian Gorrell is a a gay person who was duped by a Filipino Socialite name DJ Montano. DJ Montano is a gay person who is friends with some of the most influential people in the Filipino Industry like Celine Lopez, Tim Yap, Tina Tinio, Wendy Puyat and Chut Cuerva who he allegedly is saying are addicted to COCAINE and what he calls "The Gucci Gang".

As Brian says, DJ Montano (a Filipino Ex-Boyfriend) owe him $70,000 and refused to pay him back. He put up this blog to force DJ Montano on paying him back, return whatever stuff he stole from him and expose the kind of lifestyle of the Gucci Gang members have.

Last Saturday night, Beebee and I with her friends Laurenz and Ella went to Gateway to eat dinner and watch a movie. Beebee and I arrived late because of the heavy traffic so we all decided to just watch the last full show. Since we were all starving already, we decided to eat at Cibo. An Italian restaurant.

This is not the first time I ate at Cibo but it was the first time we ate at the Gateway branch and we really didn't like the service that night. For starter, I ordered the Spinach Dip for everybody but to my disappointment, they were already out of it so I just asked the waiter to get us the Mushroom dip instead. After 10 minutes, the waiter went back to us and informed us that they also ran out of it so I decided to just get the Liver Pate. For the main course, I asked for the my  favorite Rigatoni Alfonso but then again, they were out of it. I was like again? The we all just ordered a different dish that doesn't have any seafood in it plus Uva Nera (Red Grapes Shake) for our drinks.

After 40 minutes and counting, our food hasn't arrived yet. I noticed that most of the people were already leaving but where's our food? At 8:00pm, I asked the waiter to follow up on our food and I noticed from their reaction that they haven't started cooking or I think somebody misplaced our order. At 8:14pm, no food still! That's the time I decided that as soon as the clock hits 8:15pm and they still haven't serve our food yet then I'll ask for their manager already. Good thing is, it came at exactly 8:15pm. Another disappointment was both Ella and I didn't finish our food because it was really really very salty. I'm not sure why but I hope they can improve their service.

After dinner, we all went down to DQ to get some desert and smoke. I ordered the highly recommended by Ella Strawberry Banana Blizzard and it was the best. (Now I'm craving for one. Huhuhuhu)

Now comes the movie Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street by Tim Burton. Another Johnny Depp movie.  Well, if you guys are into Edward Scissor Hands, Nightmare on Christmas or Corpse Bride with the mix of The Producer (Musical), then this is the movie for you.

The judge had Barker deported to Australia on a trumped-up charge, then raped Lucy, who poisoned herself in despair. Their daughter Johanna (Jayne Wisener) became the ward of Judge Turpin.

On a stroll through the market, Mr. Todd and Mrs. Lovett stop to watch Signor Pirelli (Sacha Baron Cohen), a mountebank barber and hair tonic salesman. Mr. Todd challenges Signor Pirelli to a shaving competition, to be judged by Beadle Bamford (Timothy Spall). (The beadle is Judge Turpin's sidekick.) Mr. Todd wins handily and encourages the beadle to patronize his "tonsorial parlor."

However Signor Pirelli, who once worked for Benjamin Barker, recognizes the man and his razors. He has blackmail in mind: in exchange for half of Mr. Todd's earnings, Signor Pirelli will refrain from exposing Todd's identity to the authorities. Mr. Todd, enraged, kills Pirelli. Mr. Todd and Mrs. Lovett decide to use the body to make meat pies. Mrs. Lovett appropriates Pirelli's purse and hires Pirelli's servant, the boy Toby (Ed Sanders), to help her in the pie shop.

In another part of London, Anthony the sailor has caught sight of a lovely young woman, identified to him as Johanna by a local beggar woman, sitting at her window in Judge Turpin's house. He's smitten. Unfortunately, Judge Turpin has caught sight of Anthony too; the judge threatens him and has Beadle Bamford beat him up. Not content with warning Anthony off, Judge Turpin decides to marry Johanna to "protect her" -- but, he confides to the beadle, she's unaccountably reluctant. (In fact, she's given Anthony a key to the house and is planning to run away with him.) Beadle Bamford, suggesting that the judge will win his ward's heart if he just spruces himself up a bit, recommends a visit to Sweeney Todd. The judge goes for a shave, but just as Mr. Todd is about to kill him, Anthony bursts into the barbershop asking for help in eloping with Johanna. Judge Turpin leaves in a rage and packs Johanna off to an insane asylum to keep Anthony from finding her.

Furious that Judge Turpin has slipped through his fingers, Todd embarks on a spree of butchery, bloodily killing almost every customer who comes to his shop. Downstairs, business is booming: the bodies all go into Mrs. Lovett's meat pies, which are greatly improved by the change of recipe. Meanwhile, Anthony scours the city in search of Johanna. After he finds her at Fogg's Asylum, Mr. Todd advises Anthony to present himself at Fogg's as a wig maker's apprentice in search of hair the color of Johanna's. The ruse works; Mr. Fogg (Philip Philmar) leads Anthony straight to Johanna and Anthony takes her off to the barbershop, leaving Fogg to be torn apart by the remaining inmates.

Mr. Todd, on the sly, has written to Judge Turpin. Pretending to be eager to regain the judge's good opinion, he tells Turpin that Anthony is eloping with Johanna and will leave her at the barbershop that night while he arranges their escape from London. Toby by this time has begun to suspect that Mr. Todd is dangerous. Mrs. Lovett locks him in the cellar with the oven, the meat grinder, and a few batches of pies. Toby finds a finger in one of the pies and realizes that the unprocessed meat is human remains. Upstairs in the pie shop, Beadle Bamford has very inconveniently arrived to inspect the premises because the neighbors are complaining of the smell. To keep him away from the corpses and the now more than suspicious Toby in the cellar, Mr. Todd persuades the beadle to have a shave first, and of course kills him. The arrival of Beadle Bamford's body in the cellar (via a chute and trap door in the barbershop floor) impels Toby to flee through a drain into the sewers.

While Mrs. Lovett and Mr. Todd search for Toby in the sewers, Johanna arrives at the barbershop to wait while Anthony hires a carriage. Anthony has disguised her as a boy. Looking around the room, Johanna notices but does not recognize photographs of her infant self and her mother, Lucy. She hides in a trunk when she hears someone coming; it's the addled beggar woman who has inhabited the edges of the story since Sweeney Todd came back to London. Todd himself comes in and tells the woman to leave, disregarding her "Don't I know you?" When he hears Judge Turpin coming -- expecting to catch Johanna -- Todd kills the beggar and in short order cuts Turpin's throat as well, sending both bodies down the chute. Todd then discovers Johanna, does not recognize her, and very nearly kills her too. He's interrupted by a scream from the cellar. While Todd goes down to investigate, Johanna apparently escapes; we hear no more of her. In the cellar, Mr. Todd finds that Mrs. Lovett has finished off Judge Turpin, who -- not being quite dead -- startled her by grabbing her dress.

Todd for the first time gets a clear view of the face of the beggar woman; he's horrified to realize he has killed his own wife, Lucy. He charges Mrs. Lovett with lying; she argues that she never said Lucy died, only that she took poison -- and furthermore that she (Mrs. Lovett) only deceived Mr. Todd out of love for him. Mr. Todd waltzes Mrs. Lovett savagely around the cellar and flings her into the oven, where she burns to death. As Todd weeps over Lucy, Toby creeps out of the sewer and cuts the barber's throat with his own razor.

The best thing about the movie is not just Johnny Depp or the costume or the setting but the script! See it to believe!

I can say that last saturday night was one of the best date Beebee and I had. We decided to go to MOA (Mall of Asia - biggest mall in Asia) to eat dinner and watch a movie.

First stop! We were both really hungry so after a 30 minutes of looking for the right place to eat, I introduced her to one of my favorite restaurants FISH AND CO. Baked Oysters for starters and Porkchop with Seafood rice plus a very very big whole Chilly Crab for the Main Course. Any desert? Uhh! So full! No more room for desert.

Next stop! Movie! Since it was already 10pm, we just decided to watch The Golden Compass instead of Beowulf since we heard that it's not really that good.

Golden Compass Controversy:

As per Jeffrey Weiss of The Dallas Morning New, there's been an argument that the film is the leading edge of a stealth pro-atheism campaign based on the His Dark Materials trilogy by British author Philip Pullman. Compass is the first book in the trilogy and the first movie adaptation in what could become a series of films.

The world of Compass is filled with religious, philosophical and fantastical elements. In Compass, every human being is accompanied by an animal-shaped familiar who is mentally tied to the person but is also partly independent. The film opens with a voice-over telling us that these "daemons" are people's souls.

But a standard dictionary defines the soul as "the immortal or spiritual part of the person ... credited with the functions of thinking and willing." And the books make it clear that, while important, daemons are not that.

The villains of the movie are members of the Magisterium, a Latin word used by the real Catholic Church to define its teaching authority. While the book refers to an alternate history of Catholicism, with John Calvin as its final pope, the movie never mentions the word "church."

The film's bad guys come across more as the Evil Empire in Star Wars than any real-world religious organization. A bit part by Christopher Lee (former Sith villain) almost made me expect Yoda to emerge from a dark passageway.

If you listen very closely between the battle scenes, you'll hear talk about "Authority" (you can hear the capital "A" in how the word is said), "free will," the fight between "freethinkers and heretics," and the conflict between the Magisterium and "tolerance and free inquiry."

There's this newly constructed apartment near our house that looks almost the same as ours (loft style) it's just that it's bigger since it has it's own bedroom. Beebee and I are now thinking of moving to that new place. Last weekend, we dropped by with her parents to check how much the rent would be.

2 months deposit
Php 2500 deposit for electricity
Php 500 deposit for water

I was stunned. I really like the place. It's just that it's too expensive for me. I know both Beebee and I can afford it but the thing is.. can we still save enough money for our future? For whatever plan we have?

There are so many questions in my mind this past few days whether we should really move or not. Have I mentioned to you guys why we are in a hurry to move to a new place? 

The WHYs:
1. The sockets at our place are grounded. We don't know why or how but the security guard informed us that it might be because of the rainy season. We've already tried changing it about three times. Grr... How scary...
2. When the rainy season started, water is coming in our room. We don't know where it's coming from but the security guard said that it might have come from the rooftop. Heller! We're on the second floor! How can it drip down to our room? The thing is our bed is on the floor and it's getting wet. I don't want to buy a new one anymore! 
3. The sockets of the light bulb in the kitchen blew up. Why? I don't know again.
4. There's water dripping from the stairs to our Shoe rack. It's ruining my beautiful furniture!!! Again and again, we don't know where it's coming from but we know for a fact that it's doing that whenever it's raining.
5. There's water dripping from the roof of our room into out BED. And to think that what's beneathe that roof would be the bathroom of the room on the third floor. Think again if the drips are really water!! Although we've already fixed that, Beebee's dad placed something so it would go straight to the window.
6. Our neighbor Ate Annie just informed us that most of the tenants already moved out. So in our floor, it's just Beebee and I, Ate Annie and her family, Gigi and Derek. Oh my god.. Everybody's moving out already.
7. We pay Php 150 per head every month for water bill wherein if ever were going to measure our monthly comsuption, it would only be Php 50. What they do is they divide the total consumption on how many heads there are in the building. So now that most of the people are moving out, they would start charging us higher.
8. We don't have our own Kuntator (Electirc Meter). Gigi and I are sharing one so we don't really know if were paying the right amount. About five months ago, when Dad (Gigi's ex) was still living in with her, we used to pay around Php 1800 for two apartment. But when Dad moved out, it went down to Php 1200. After a month or two when our other neighbor moved out, it went down to about Php 600. Huwat the fuck!!! We don't even have an airconditioner. Hay... It must be the security guard. The thing is, were scared that they might be tapping out electric meter and theire charging us with their comsumption.
9. Our landlord was an EX CONVICT!!!!! 

Now you guys tell me.. You might be wondering  why I didn't write any negative thing about the new place right? Well the only negative thing I can think of is the price. Php 8000 per month is too much but if I were to think of all the things that are happening at our place? I think I'll just take the risk and cut back some of the not so important expenses. Hehehe

Anyways, I'll update you guys as soon as we make our decision and if ever were already moving.

A good chick flick love story movie for me is something that would feel so real. Something that really happens in people's lives.

Last Saturday, Me, Beebee, Noe and Rey (Noe's partner) went to glorietta 4 to watch the new tagalog chick flick movie "One More Chance". This movie is one of the best tagalog movie of the year 2007.

What's the movie about?

Will you change that love or love the change?

Popoy (John Lloyd Cruz) and Basha (Bea Alonzo) have been together forever.

Their love story started when they met as students in the university. Popoy was taking up Engineering while Basha was a freshman in Architecture. They have been inseparable ever since – they did everything together may it be eating, studying or attending parties. Their families loved them, they shared friends, they eventually worked in the same firm and their life plans revolved around each other. There is no Popoy without a Basha and vice versa. In short, they were certain that they will get married someday and build a home together –literally and figuratively. Architect Basha will design and plan their dream house while Engineer Popoy will be the one to build it. Everything is perfect.

At least that is what Popoy thinks.

But all the planning and dreaming eventually took a toll on Basha. Tired of trying to carve her own mark in the firm where they are both working, she suddenly tells him that she wants to resign and move to a smaller firm where she can be given a bigger chance to design on her own. Popoy is alarmed by Basha’s sudden decision. He tries to demand for an explanation but what would have been a routine lunch for both of them became their first ever major fight in five years.

Shaken and angered by each other’s reactions, Popoy and Basha run into each other that night in a hotel both with different partners. After a flurry of emotions, they sit down and talk about the incident. They learn that nothing happened inside the hotel rooms but what Basha confesses would hurt Popoy more than seeing her with another person. Basha tells him the problem that has brewing inside her for the past year, the real reason why she wants to leave their company – she is tired of Popoy and their relationship. She feels that Popoy is all over her and that she hasn’t been given the opportunity to decide and plan for herself because Popoy already did everything. Popoy is speechless. Inside, he is devastated. That same night, Basha asks for a break up. She tells him she needs the space to grow. On her own.

Not knowing how to pick himself up after the love of his life leaves him, Popoy struggles to live his new life alone. Meanwhile, Basha resigns and transfers to a smaller firm where she begins to feel the freedom she’s been longing for. Popoy and Basha try to live without each other but the ties that bind them make it harder for both to move on. Their families and friends became constant reminders of the promises and dreams they had on happier days.
Slowly, Popoy learns to pick up the pieces and discovers a life that he can call his own. But Basha’s journey proved to be more difficult especially when she sees Popoy starting to see other girls. A part of her wants to get him back but a part also knows that she was the one who asked for this.

Opportunity knocks when Popoy’s aunt commissions them to build her house together. After feeling awkward around each other, Popoy and Basha eventually warm up. After all, five years of being together is hard to erase. Slowly and unconsciously, they fall into their old routines and find themselves enjoying each other’s company once again. Both realize how much they’ve missed each other yet both also recognize how much they’ve changed.

One night, vulnerable and undeniably longing for each other, they kiss and make love for the first time after the break up. Afraid of how that one night can affect their fragile friendship, Popoy and Basha try to avoid the issue and struggle to live their new-found lives. Until Basha cannot take the uncertainty of the situation they are in anymore and confronts Popoy. She asks him what that night means and where they will go from here. Overwhelmed, Popoy’s fear gets the best of him and he tells Basha that they cannot go back to how they were before. This time, it’s Basha’s heart that gets broken.

After Basha gives the final floor plan to Popoy, she stays away from him while Popoy retreats to his apartment. Crying, Popoy sees the things Basha left in his life all around his place. Finally, he sees the plan Basha finished which reminds him how much they loved each other and how beautiful it was to dream together. But Popoy knows too well that giving in would mean going back to how they were before. And he’s way too scared to get in the way of Basha’s growth once again, especially now that he has seen that she can do it alone.

Popoy and Basha struggle whether to hold on or move on. 

What do I think about the movie?

I'm not sure if I liked the movie because I can relate to both situation or I just think that it's not something that I wish can happen. It was something that really happen to other people. Every lines that came out from their mouth were lines you hear from your friends, your bf/gf or family. In short, it was realistic and not just some fairy tale movie.

What's my favorite part?

 When Maja Salvador (Trisha in the film) confronted John Lloyd if he really love her. The way she cried felt so real. At first her face turned red, it went from relax to stiff, her eyes stop moving then the tears just went down her face. The love scene that both John Lloyd and Bea Alonzo was bragging about really sucked. They should have just removed that part. (I think she agreed to do the part because she wants to look mature already because she also lost a lot of weight. Beebee even mentioned that she looks hot compare to the patweetumz effect before).

What's my favorite line?

Most of the people were caught in the line "You had me at my best. She had me at my worst". But that didn't even made me cry. The line after that is my second favorite in the movie wherein Bea answered back "I had to make a choice". Then John Lloyd said "And you chose to break my heart". Awww... So sad... 

I was not able to memorize my number one favorite line in the movie. It was when John Lloyd's friend attempted suicide wherein he drank shampoo (who in the world would even drink shampoo to kill himself? how can you die by drinking shampoo?). Well anyways, John Lloyd was comforting him something like "diba pare ikaw pa nagsabi sa akin na kaya tayo iniiwan ng mga babae dahil may darating na mas ok. Na dahil may darating na makakapagpabago sa atin at  magaalaga sa atin" (I already forgot). But those were some words you really hear from your friends when somebody leaves you.

There's this survey going around the office right now about a Christmas Wish List and I just thought "Oh yeah.. We only have 31 days until Christmas already".

Anyways I was just wondering what I want to get from Santa this year. Here's my tope ten.

10. A brand new pair of shoes. - A very expensive one! How I wish there's Jimmy Choos around here somewhere.
9.  A new phone. - Lost the phone Beebee gave me so I'm stuck with what my mom lend me. A very very old phone. I mean literally old. (Screen is black and white plus no CAMERA!) You might be wondering how can I live with that type of phone huh?
8. My own Playstation 3  - Beebee's friend Lawrence already got his from the states. His mom sent it as a birthday gift. Of course we didn't missed the opportunity to try it. It was awesome! Stayed until the next morning just playing. Better try it!
7. An OVEN - I love cooking and baking. But how can I bake if I don't have an oven. Beebee and I started scouting before but the problem is.. our place is too small for something that big.
6. Money to Enroll in Cooking School. - Cooking for me is not just a hobby but a passion. I want to learn more though I don't have the time and luxury to enroll. Plus the best school here is very expensive and I don't think I could ever afford it. Maybe someday though. Although I was looking around and found an okay type of school. Maybe Santa can give me money this christmas so I can enroll myself by early next year. :P
5. A free trip to EUROPE?. - Huhuhu I miss traveling. I told myself before that I would travel around once a year. in 2005 I went to Bangkok, Thailand. In 2006 I went to HongKong and Singapore. In 2007? None. In 2008? I hope I can go anywhere where I haven't been to.
4. A new HOUSE. - Our place is very frustrating. First, waters coming inside. Secondly, plugs and sockets are grounded. Now the light bulbs downstairs went out! We even had to take shower in the dark. HAY.... What is happening to out HOME SWEET HOME...? It's starting to frustrate both Beebee and Me already.
3. An opportunity to help other people. - I just remembered that it's been a while since the last time I did something good or help our some poor people or charity. I can still remember the feeling that last time I did. Very fulfilling.
2. A moment wherein my family can be complete. (with all my siblings) - Eversince me and my brother started working, we were never complete on christmas day anymore. He had to go to work last year. Hope this year he can make it.
1. A closer relationship with GOD. - This year was the closest time I had with GOD. I started going to church every sunday with Beebee and her family. I wish I could do that with my family as well.

Isn't it exciting to wait for the BIG day?

November 13, 2006 fell on a Friday the 13th. They say it's bad luck. But for me, good or bad luck I don't care. It's the date that brought us together.



1 year already? It feels like as if it was just yesterday when we were just dating and drinking with our friends.

1 year already? Feels like it was just yesterday when everybody was against our relationship and everybody was talking about us. Making a big deal about us being together.

1 year already? It feels like it was just yesterday when Beebee and I moved in together and filled our place 1 item at a time until we can now call our place HOME.

1 year already? Feels like it was just yesterday when we fought about little stuff but then again we ended up making love.

1 year already and were still counting! More fights and more gossips? I don't care! As long as were together, I know we can make it.

This song is not our theme song nor do I like it but I can't help but think that sometimes it really is true..
